Customer Surveys
The Pros and Cons of Customer Surveys
Customer surveys are used by companies to get a sense of what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong. However, this process of gaining information often comes with a number of pros and cons. First, it’s important to keep in mind that customer surveys are often given out at random with a limited amount of targeting, which means there is a chance that whoever is filling them out will not be the right person to share a well-informed opinion of your company.
However, getting information from a wide variety of different voices is a great way to form a well-rounded opinion of what your company is and is not doing properly. It’s also important to keep in mind that many people just like to be critical of how things are operating when it doesn’t affect them. So in other words, most of the opinions expressed on customer surveys you hand out should be taken with a grain of salt.
