Product Reconditioning
What is Product Reconditioning?
Product reconditioning is a process specific to early models of products that are just about to be released to the rest of the marketplace. What happens in many cases is that these early models are released to specific customers or sellers as demo units to help promote the product when it finally hits the market. None of these products are actually for sale but most work the way the product that will hit the market soon will work. However, they must be brought back to the factory once their demo time has ended and be reconditioned—or put through the same stringent quality standards all the other products like them must go through. This process will cost a company some money, but is worth it in many cases so that the demo products can still be sold and ideally make a profit. Finding a company that can help with product reconditioning at a low cost is also a good idea.
